FIFA World Cup 2022: Cameroon Set to Reach Semi-Finals

Yaounde: Cameroon head coach Regubert Sang has set a goal to reach the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

According to the Chinese News Agency, "Our goal is at least the semi-finals," Sang said in an interview with The Associated Press. In 1990, Cameroon became the first African country to reach the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup before losing to England in extra time. Song said Cameron was placed in Group G with Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland, which is a very strong group.

He said that Brazil, which is ranked number one in FIFA's latest world rankings, would not make any difference to the team as Cameroon's team has beaten Brazil in the past.

It should be noted that Cameroon's team will start its campaign in the mega event on November 24 against Switzerland. Cameroon will play their second league match on November 28 against Serbia and their third match on December 2 against Brazil.
