Imad Wasim will not be a Part of Pakistani Team Say's Chief Selector

The chief selector explained the reason why Imad Wasim was dropped from the squad

Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Muhammad Waseem Said that Imad Wasim will not be a part of National Cricket Team against the Home series against West Indies in Multan.

KARACHI: National cricket team chief selector Muhammad Waseem has given a reason for dropping all-rounder Imad Waseem from the squad. Chief selector Mohammad Waseem said in a statement that fitness issues are affecting the performance of all-rounder Imad Waseem which is causing him problems while the quality of fitness of other players in the squad is very high.

Which is why Mohammad Nawaz was preferred over Imad Wasim. The chief selector said that considering the performance of the all-rounder, Muhammad Nawaz was the best option for the team. His fitness and performance is going well at the moment. 

Pakistan VS West Indies

On the other hand, chief selector Muhammad Waseem has hinted to opener Shaun Masood to return to the white ball cricket squad in the future while he is currently leading the Derbyshire Falcons in the English County T20 Blast.

It should be noted that 3 ODIs will be played between Pakistan and West Indies on June 8, 10 and 12 in Rawalpindi while the Caribbean team will return home on June 5.

Babar Azam (Captain), Shadab Khan (Vice Captain), Abdullah Shafiq, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hassan Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdal Shah, Mohammad Haris (Wicket Keeper Batsman), Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan (Wicket Keeper Batsman) ), Mohammad Wasim Jr., Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shahnawaz Dahani and Zahid Mahmood.
