Muzaffarabad: Kashmir Premier League (KPL) president Arif Malik has offered to include former Indian cricket Captain Virat Kohli in the event.

"We want to bring people on both sides together so that the message of peace is common. The planning for season two is very clear. The situation is not ideal in the first one or two seasons of the league but after two or three seasons things go automatically," he said. They get better and better.

The Kashmir Premier League management has offered Indian cricketer Virat Kohli to play in the upcoming edition of KPL 2019. According to sources, the league’s owners have extended their invitation to Kohli to participate in the tournament that will begin from October 15th at Srinagar.
According to reports, the KPL 2019 will feature four teams – J&K Bank Limited, Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association, J&K State Sports Council, and J&K Board of School Education. In addition, the league will host two semi-finals and a final between the top two teams. The winner will take home Rupees 1 crore while the runner-up will get Rs 50 lakh. Sources added that the KPL management is keen that Kohli plays in the tournament. However, they are yet to confirm if he will accept the offer.
