National Hockey Team Leaves for Asia Hockey Cup 2022 in Jakarta
The four best teams of Asia Cup will qualify for the World Cup.
The hockey team led by Omar Bhutta left Allama Iqbal Airport Lahore to participate in the Asia Hockey Cup. The Asia Hockey Cup will start from May 23 in Jakarta, Indonesia. The teams are divided into two pools. Pool A includes India, Japan, Pakistan and Indonesia, while Pool B includes Malaysia, Korea, Oman and Bangladesh.
The top four teams in the Asia Hockey Cup 2022 will qualify for the World Cup Semi-Final
Pakistan will play its first match on May 23 against traditional rivals India.
Pakistan's second match will be against Indonesia on May 24 and the third match will be against Japan on May 26. Hockey Federation President Brigadier (retd) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar and Secretary General Olympian Asif Bajwa have expressed good wishes.
