Pakistan women's team defeated Sri Lanka in the third T20 and whitewashed the Series with 3-0

Karachi: Pakistan made a clean sweep by winning the Women's International T20 Series Katsira and the last match by 4 wickets against Sri Lanka in a thrilling manner. Got it. Captain Bismillah Maroof played a responsible shot and scored the required two runs to lead Pakistan to victory and remain the player of the match. 

At South End Club Ground, DHA, the Pakistan women's team defeated the visiting team. The Sri Lankan team, which had won the toss three times in a row, lost all its three matches.

Pakistan made three changes in the match on the favorable wicket for the spinners. Openers Gul Feroze, fast bowlers Fatima Sana and Ayman, who had failed in their first two matches.

Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 107 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Captain Chamari Attapattu stood out with 37 runs off 38 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes. 

Hasini Perera scored 24 runs. Anushka Sanjeevani remained unbeaten with 14 runs. Madhavi could add one day. For Pakistan, Nada Dar, Kainat Imtiaz and Tobi Hassan took 1.1 wickets each.

Pakistan had won the first match by 6 wickets, in the second match Pakistan had won by 7 wickets. This was Pakistan's ninth victory in the 17th overall T20 match against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka won 6 matches while one match was a draw.

Meanwhile, the three-match series between the two countries in the ICC ODI International Women's Cricket Championship will start on June 1.

Both teams will participate in two-day practice sessions before the series. The two captains will hold a press conference on May 31. The first match will be played the next day.
