Pakistan Accepts Invitation to Play Tri-Nation T20 Series in New Zealand

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board has accepted the invitation of News to participate in the triangular T20 series. Talking to Express News, a PCB official confirmed that Pakistan has agreed to participate in the triangular series as it would give the players a better chance to prepare for the T20 World Cup.

Pakistan Cricket Board will inform the New Zealand Cricket Board of the final decision in a few days. Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board had received a formal offer from the Kiwi authorities for a tri-series T20. Apart from New Zealand, Bangladesh and Pakistan were invited to play in the triangular series by the Kiwi Board. The report said that the tri-series is likely to be played in Australia in late September or early October before the scheduled T20 World Cup.
