5. Croatia are currently ranked 10th in the world, above Denmark, Ireland, New Zealand and South Korea, while Saudi Arabia are currently ranked 19th. Neither of these teams have ever played in the finals before but Saudi Arabia qualified through their AFC qualification playoff win over Thailand.

 

6. England are currently ranked 7th in the world, below Switzerland, Serbia, Poland and Costa Rica. They reached the semi-finals of Euro 2008 and the semi-final stage of the 2010 World Cup.
