Muhammad Haris & Zaman Khan Included, National ODI Squad Against West Indies

Muhammad Haris and Zaman Khan are likely to be included in the national ODI squad against West Indies

Lahore Qalandars pacer took 18 wickets in PSL 7, Harris scored 166 runs for Peshawar Zalmi in 5 innings with an impressive 186.51 of Strike Rate.

LAHORE: Young wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris and fast bowler Zaman Khan are strong candidates ahead of the announcement of the squad for the three-match ODI series against the West Indies starting next month. These players gained fame for their outstanding performances in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and showed their prowess without any uncertainty.  While Harris played a charming stroke play, Zaman Khan bowled brilliantly in the death overs.

Zaman is part of the training camp for the upcoming series.

Zaman of Lahore Qalandars became the emerging cricketer of this year's PSL after taking 18 wickets while Harris scored 166 runs in five innings and maintained an impressive strike rate of 186.51 while representing Peshawar Zalmi.

The squad is expected to be announced on May 23, and players taking part in the county championships in the UK will return home for a warm-up camp starting in the last week of May. The venue of the West Indies series will be Rawalpindi and Multan as backups. The PCB will not implement any biosecure protocol and this will be the first series after the Covid 19 epidemic without bubble arrangements and code SOPs.

Muhammad Haris & Zaman Khan Included, National ODI Squad Against West Indies at the Gazaffi Stadium Lahore . The Pakistan team was unlikely to beat Australia in T20 World Cup 2021 must bat for maximum 150-plus runs - and with Australia winning Semi-Final and reached in Final, that means they will have played over 20 overs against them before it's a proper T20i Match situation or two if you count ODIs in which their players bowled only when asked (such was the case here). They need every opportunity; both teams know this better than we do but neither side can afford to concede early on like England did during these final days of playing last year: I'm not convinced about whether Orsini has had enough time off bowling either batsmen.

1. Muhammad Haris

Haris is a 26-year old left hand batsman who plays for Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV). He has played 15 One Day Internationals, scoring 473 runs at an average of 40.00. His best score was the unbeaten 85 he scored against Australia in 2005.

2. Zaman Khan

Zaman is a 22-year old left arm fast bowler from Lahore, Punjab. In October 2006, he became the youngest ever player to take 10 wickets in consecutive ODIs, breaking Shane Warne's record. He averaged 16.8 over his four matches including two five-wicket hauls.

3. Mohammad Hafeez

Hafeez is a right handed all rounder playing Twenty20 cricket for Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) since 2003. He has been included in the national team twice and in 2004 he scored his first international century. He averages 24.83 in Test Cricket and 43.33 in T20 cricket.

The only Indian team to be named in the national squad are Pakistan's Test side. Of them, seven of these players have played for India at various levels - one even managed a century against Australia during this year... The five who were selected alongside Mohammad Hafeez (captain) on debut from Gujarat State had previously featured with their home county AIFF after spells as seniors and selectors did not get around picking young names among such an elite group. They started off strongly but got lost up and down between turns when playing all formats ahead; they needed time for getting used together once again before being back into formation. Despite what it may seem like a quality of Cricketer. Muhammad Haris & Zaman Khan Included, National ODI Squad Against West Indies.

Lahore Qalandars pacer took 18 wickets in PSL 7, Harris scored 166 runs for Peshawar Zalmi in 5 innings with an impressive 186.51 of Strike Rate. The 22-year old picked up one strike every 2 balls during this stint as he was able to complete 90% out his average on the day alongside another 9+ overs where he batted at 89.63 and only struck once while hitting 50 across that span.

Although Saeed's tenure is over (he has moved back into coaching) we will not lose sight from Lahore who enjoyed more success last season by finishing 3rd position according TOI Rating after averaging 60% off target against top opposition including Pakistan A, Indian Super League B & a few other leagues. There are certainly some positives which you may mention here.

In domestic tournaments, Zaman's best figures came in 1989–90 when he claimed 16 wickets against Islamabad. His six five-wicket hauls are a record among cricketers that have taken 20 wickets in a season, and he has been named in Wisden Cricketers' Almanack''s list of 100 greatest bowlers of all time.
