World Cup 2003: Mohammad Kaif's sensational revelations regarding Pak-India match
Mumbai: Former Indian cricket batsman Muhammad Kaif has revealed that Sachin Tendulkar was standing far away from the mid-position when Sachin Tendulkar was caught during the 2003 Pak-India World Cup match which gave new life to Sachin and Pakistan team match. I couldn't come back.
In an interview to Sports website, former Indian batsman Muhammad Kaif said that during the 2003 World Cup match, Pakistan had a chance to get Tendulkar out but Abdul Razzaq failed to catch the ball at mid-off due to which Wasim Akram were angry.
Speaking openly about the incident, Kaif said that Razzaq did not stand at mid-off but he was very close to the bowlers. If Razzaq had caught Sachin, the match could have turned around. "Sachin was batting well, my role was to support him," he said. I had received instructions from the dressing room that Sachin was in good form and let him play attacking cricket.
In this match against Pakistan, Tendulkar and Kaif shared a 103-run partnership for the third wicket while Kaif scored 35 off 60 balls and turned the match in India's favor. It should be noted that the Indian team had reached the final of this World Cup, but was defeated by Australia.
Mohammad Kaif's sensational revelations regarding Pak-India match "Khawaja also claimed that when he got to the Indian dressing room after winning his first World Cup, a Pakistan player arrived and asked him why we didn't play like this. 'I couldn`t do it,' said Imran Khan who has played five Tests in India under Kumar." - Bimal Sharma is still not at all happy with Nehru being "too big for you!"? By any means let me say one of my favorite quotes was uttered by Lalit Modi during their farewell tour.
1. Pakistan has lost their first two matches but they still have a chance to win the cup if they defeat India in their final game. This is one of the reasons why the Indian media are not too keen on this result. They don't want any competition on the field. No matter how much money they make off these games, they do not want them to take place. After all, who would pay to watch a cricket game between two countries that are already at war? So the Indian media have been trying everything they can to kill off Pakistani football star and cricketer Mohammad Kaif. If he does well here, then the Indian media think they might actually lose some customers....
2. Mohammad Kaif was born in 1982 in Sialkot, Punjab. He is a right handed batsman and his favourite shot is the leg glance. Kaif has played 6 internationals for Pakistan and was named as captain of the team in 2008. His career has taken him from Pakistan to England where he now plays for Birmingham City F.C.. Kaif is also good friends with former England captain Michael Vaughan.

I couldn't come back. It is a bit of history," former India allrounder Kabir told The News Minute here today. Kais said he felt "betrayed" by his coach who in any other game would have stood with him even if asked.
The retired Pakistani opener pointed out that after falling for certain lines, players like Saeed Ajmal never allowed themselves such line breaks as there were too many people involved at an individual level. However it seemed no one else paid attention on whether they had run or lost track and thus did not pay heed towards trying anything drastic. "I think you could do worse than being blindfolded before batting.
1. Former Indian cricketer Muhammad Kaif said that former Indian cricket captain Sachin Tendulkar stood afar off from the middle position when he was caught once again in the 2003 world cup final. This is not the first time Kaif had expressed his disappointment over Sachin's retirement. He had previously told News18 that Sachin should have retired in 2009 instead of 2011.
2. Kaif said, "I saw him standing at the boundary and then he was caught out by Wasim Akram. At that moment, he (Sachin) came near me but I didn't know what happened after that. As soon as I heard the crowd cheering after he was caught out, I was shocked."
3. Kaif added,"The moment he (Tendulkar) was caught out, he looked towards his team members. But I could not see anything other than his eyes. I understood that he is hurt. What is even worse is that he never showed any emotion after this incident."
4. Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar's son Pranav has also taken to Twitter to express his views about Kaif's comments. He wrote, “Muhammad Kaif Thanks for your thoughts. And I agree with you. We all knew how much Sachin means to everyone.”
5. In July last year, Kaif had tweeted, "Sachin sir I love you. But if something happens to your dad, we can't live without you sachin. Your father is everything to us."
6. Sometime later, Kaif posted a picture of himself with Sachin. On his Instagram account he captioned the photo, saying, "Thank you Sir for being the greatest cricketer of our generation & giving us so many memorable memories..

He further asked me not show my face for his sake as he felt if I did then it would harm our friendship between India & Pakistan."Kaija (Mohammad Tariq) had been speaking about this issue yesterday in a letter addressed by him at Lahore International Airport where all letters of condolence will be delivered today," Khan claimed. He added, while referring Khadim Hussaini's message sent out through FB chat window last year saying 'Sachin wasn´t seen behind us', Kaijanji also mentioned how Mohammad Ashraf - wh
