New York: Young spinner Yasir Mohammed has been included in the US squad for the scheduled Tri-Series and World Cricket League 2 in Texas.

Yasir, who played a key role in America's historic victory over Ireland in the Twenty20 debut last year, is now part of the 14-member US squad that will take part in the series starting May 28 in Texas. Xavier Marshall, Vetsal Weghela and Jesse Singh, who were on leave, Rusty Theron and Cameron Stevenson also made a comeback. The US team will play a tri-series before joining Scotland and UAE, followed by League 2 matches against Nepal and Oman.

Yasir is well known as being one who can bowl from different points in a wicket and he was on display at England Under-19s where he bowled out for 23. He may not have been world famous but his passing prowess, patience, intelligence are all valuable parts of any team. 1. New York : Young spinner Yasir Mohammad has been included in the USA squad for the scheduled T20I against Hong Kong at Queens Sports Club, Flushing Meadows, NY on 22nd June 2015. In his first match for the USA, he would get out to a slow start but make use of some decent bowling from Jhye Richardson and Jonathan Marray in the middle overs to finish unbeaten on 23 not out off 14 balls with two fours and three sixes. This performance helped him to be picked for the upcoming tri series against Ireland and Scotland along with fellow youngster Alex Hales.

1. Yasir Ali Khan
Yasir Ali Khan was born on February 17, 1975 in Lahore, Pakistan. He started playing cricket at the age of 14 and has been an international cricketer since 1998. In his first year as a professional cricketer he scored 1,000 runs and took 15 wickets. His best bowling figures came in his second season where he recorded 9/19 against Zimbabwe. From 2000-2005, Yasir played for England in 22 Tests and 28 One Day Internationals. In 2002, he became the youngest player ever to score a Test century. After retiring from cricket in 2006, Yasir returned to Pakistan and became a television commentator and analyst.
2. Umar Gul
Umar Gul was born on January 27, 1976 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. He began playing cricket at a young age and represented West Zone. In 1996, he broke into the national team and went on to play for them until 2003. He had a successful career with the Pakistani cricket team and is considered one of their greatest bowlers. He holds several records including being the fastest bowler to reach 100 Test wickets, taking only 10 innings to reach this milestone. He also holds the record for the most consecutive five-wicket hauls in ODIs with eight. He retired from international cricket in 2007 but continues to play club cricket in the UK.
3. Chris Gayle
Chris Gayle was born on April 19, 1977 in Jamaica. He began playing cricket in 1993 and joined the Jamaican Cricket Team in 1997. In 2004, he moved to Australia and joined Victoria. In 2005, he won the Australian domestic T20 competition. Since then, he has gone on to play for the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League. He has also made appearances in English county cricket. He retired from international play in 2011. When he retires from the BBL, he plans on returning to the Caribbean and playing for the West Indies again.
